Yoga and meditation are two practices which played an important part of my healing journey. Meditation is something I do daily. Yoga is not a daily practice for me, but I am body-aware to know when I need it.
There are many studios that offer both yoga and meditation, however, only a handful that offer these practices with a focus of healing from trauma.

YES, THAT’S RIGHT… IT EXISTS!
And Crossover Yoga Project (“CYP”) offers trauma-informed yoga and meditation. CYP is part of New York State Trauma-informed Network and recognized as a Credible Messenger.

Great news! CYP is now offering these classes online through zoom. So whether you are new to yoga or meditation, felt that you never connected with these practices before, or continuing your practice, I highly recommend you try their classes.

YOGA
CYP invites you to these hour-long yoga classes to explore postures that can help release stress and promote resilience during these challenging times. The zoom channel will be open 15 minutes prior to each class to offer time to reconnect with others. Classes are for all levels. First-time yogis are warmly welcomed!
Tuesdays: 9:15am - 10:15am EST
Wednesdays: 7:00pm - 8:00pm EST
Suggested $10 per class via Venmo @ 914-319-4010. No one will be turned away due to lack of funds.
