Bison Nachos with Goat Cheddar and Guacamole

Ingredients:

  • Siete Grain-Free Tortilla Chips

  • 1 lb of bison meat

  • olive oil

  • taco seasoning

  • water

  • goat cheddar, shredded

  • 1 avocado

  • salsa (I prefer mild)

  • 1-2 tbsp lime juice (fresh squeezed or bottled)

Instructions:

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees

  2. In a deep sided skillet, add olive oil to coat the pan and add bison meat

  3. Cook until browned, stirring occasionally

  4. Add 1/4 taco seasoning for each lb of bison meat

  5. Add 2/3 cup of water for each lb of bison meat

  6. Cook uncovered for 4-5 minutes

  7. In a stoneware dish, line the bottom with Siete Grain-Free Tortilla Chips

  8. Add bison meat

  9. Sprinkle goat cheddar on top, generously

  10. Bake for 10 minutes until cheese is melted

Top with guacamole

Guacamole

  1. In a bowl mix avocado, lime juice and salsa
