We are all influencers
When I was just starting Everyday Being and publishing my memoir, my book coach called me an influencer. My response was, 'No way! How could I be an influencer?' I don't have thousands of followers. I'm not a recognized name. What do I have to offer to be an influencer?
I wrote in my memoir how each day when we go out into the world we paint the world with colors. When our moods are dark and grey, we impact those around us with that same mood. When our moods are happy and joyful, full of kindness, we are painting the world in bright colors.
That's exactly what an influencer is. Our behaviors, words and actions each day influence those around us.
Think about it, how many times have you been in a bad mood when someone you interact with gets you to smile?
When we teach our children something new, we are influencing their futures.
When we have small talk with someone in the grocery store, your words might be just the ones they needed to hear that day.
We are all influencers. We ALL have so much to teach others.
How do you want to influence the world today?
