Hope Exists Within

HopeExistsWithin.png

In the last couple of weeks I have had some moments of lost hope. I worry for my family, my kids and my heart breaks for so many who have lost their jobs, gotten ill, or their trauma resurfaces. Each time I dig deep into myself and remember who I am. I am a survivor. I have been through hell-physically, mentally-emotionally. I have fallen and gotten back up many times. I know I am given these challenges so I can rise again stronger, so I can learn and lead and help someone else rise again. I AM Powerful. WE ARE Powerful! Trauma has a time and place and today is not its time. For all those suffering, I draw from within to extend my hope to you.

National Month of Hope. This is a new observance-three years young—but one that stands to have major impact. Dr. Rosalind Tompkins, founder and president of Mothers in Crisis, Inc., launched this national public awareness campaign in 2018 to challenge people to ”think hope” and “make hope connections.” Learn more about ways to engage and empower here (http://makeahopeconnection.com/hope-happenings). Mothers in Crisis, Inc., links families and communities together to create networks of support and encouragement for families to live drug-free lives.
